A Message From the Club's Board

Updated Friday 3rd December

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to advise of the Board's resolution at their Ordinary Monthly Meeting held 30th November, 2021 as it relates to the current NSW Government Public Health Order restricting patrons that are not fully vaccinated from entering our Clubs.

If the Government lifts the current Public Health Order on or before the 15th December 2021 the Board has resolved to continue to only allow fully vaccinated members, guests, staff and visitors as a condition of entry into our Clubs up until 31st January 2022. In the meantime, the Board intends to conduct a risk assessment of the potential risks and receive sound legal advice in not allowing unvaccinated patrons entry to our Clubs beyond 31st January 2022.

The policy adopted by the Board following this risk assessment process will be announced prior to 31st January 2022. The Board's primary focus is the health and wellbeing of our Members and their Guests, and of course, our staff.

Kind regards,
‍PV Clarke FCPA
General Manager

From Friday 1st January, all hospitality venues including Club Forster & The Sporties Tuncurry will require patrons to use the NSW Government Covid Safe check-in within the Service NSW app.

It is recommended that you download the Service NSW app prior to your next visit.

On arrival, scan the QR code at our entrance using the QR code scanner or camera function in your smartphone before you enter. Follow the prompts and show your check-in confirmation to staff. For those that need assistance or don’t have a smartphone, there will be dedicated staff available to help.

Both clubs still require you to register using your membership card for members or valid photo ID for visitors, so please have those ready to present on entry.

We understand that this may create some delays, however we are obligated to comply with this new NSW Health directive. We thank you for working with us to provide a safe environment for our community, members, guests and staff.

Remember, if you’ve recently attended a hotspot or you’re unwell, please stay at home.

We wish you all a happy, safe and healthy 2021!
