next ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING to be held

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Forster Tuncurry Memorial Services Club Ltd will be held on club premises at Club Forster at 5.30pm on Monday 28 October 2024. All Members are invited to attend.

Doors will open at 4.45pm and no admittance will be permitted after the commencement of the meeting. Current membership cards must be shown to gain admittance.

Food, refreshments & first-class entertainment will follow the meeting.

Our Board plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our clubs. Our clubs need enthusiastic people of all ages and backgrounds to serve our clubs and communities as Directors.

But you need to be informed of the important roles and legal responsibilities of being a Club Director, as well as the rewards and professional development opportunities.

All this plus more will be presented at our Club’s Future Director Information Session.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2022/2024

Nominations for the Board of Directors of Forster Tuncurry Memorial Services Club Ltd. for the term 2022/2024 will open on Monday 18th July, 2022 and will close at 5pm on Tuesday 30th August, 2022.

Nominations must be on the prescribed form available from Administration or Duty Manager of Club Forster and Sporties Tuncurry and must be signed by the Nominee, Proposer and Seconder, all of whom must be Financial Members of the Forster Tuncurry Memorial Services Club Ltd. and must be lodged with the General Manager no later than 5pm on Tuesday 30th August, 2022.

Nominations are invited for the following positions: PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENTS (two), DIRECTORS (Six)

RECEIVING A COPY OF THE 2024 ANNUAL REPORT, 2024 NOTICE OF AGM AND 2023 MEETING MINUTES

In accordance with the Corporations Act and for Companies Limited by Guarantee, the Company is no longer required to send a copy of the Annual Financial Report to every member, only those who elect to receive a copy either in hard or digital format (via email or SMS).

Any member electing to receive a copy of the Annual Financial Report must do so in writing, requesting a hard or digital copy from the Chief Executive Officer by Friday 13 September 2024, supplying their email address or mobile number, if a digital copy is requested. The election by a member to receive a copy of the Annual Financial Report will be a standing election for future financial years.
